Q: How much time does
a survey take?
A: Most surveys consist of 20 to 30 questions and should only take you
about five to seven minutes to complete. Occasionally, there will be
longer surveys or suveys with more complex questions, however, these
surveys also carry a higher incentive, recognizing the time and effort
required.
Q: For what purpose is my data used?
A: Data from our surveys are used by newspapers, television networks, marketers, news magazines, public affairs groups, scholars, and political campaigns to reveal and analyse public opinion on important social, political and commercial topics.
Q: Who pays for these polls?
A: SurveyU conducts and facilitates surveys for a diverse group of clients to help them better understand public views. However, our clients do not always give us permission to identify them. Rest assured that your privacy is secure, and your responses do make a difference.
Q: Will the information I provide be confidential?
A: Yes. Your responses will be used only for statistical tabulations, such as “90% of students own an iPod®” or “60% percent of college women voted Democrat.” Your individual answers will never be revealed to anyone in a manner that reveals your identity. Q: Will I receive email and SMS messages from anyone other than SurveyU?
A: Under no conditions will SurveyU give, rent, or sell your email address to anyone else or allow messages to be sent to you by third parties. Some surveys are hosted on websites other than our own, however, any of these partner research sites operate under the strict guidelines of the Council of American Survey Research Organization (CASRO). Q: Do I have to buy or subscribe to anything?
A: No. We conduct legitimate public opinion polls and surveys. You will never be asked to buy or subscribe to anything.
