SurveyU Announces the Winners of The SurveyU Academic Stimulus Package!

Congratulations to Mike V. and Elizabeth S., the winners of two $3,000 scholarships from SurveyU.

We wanted to do our part to help a couple of students keep the ball rolling on their academic careers. This summer, we announced that we'd provide a $3,000 scholarship to an active member of the SurveyU community who was heading back to school this fall, together with a 2nd $3,000 scholarship to a returning college student with no SurveyU strings attached. We were overwhelmed by the response! We received more than 3,000 applications, and really had our work cut out for us to pick just two winners.

We asked our applicants to tell us how America could turn around the economic crisis. The "can do spirit" expressed in Mike's and Elizabeth's essays inspired us. We know it will be tough, but the future of our economy depends on the kind of determination that both of our winners have in abundance.

Elizabeth S. Iowa State University "America was founded on hard work, and a dream for a better tomorrow. ...Our ancestors didn’t receive stimulus packages when their business failed. They would dust themselves off, and the community would help them out if needed."
